Helen offers singing, piano and music theory tuition in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Her specialisms are pop, soul, jazz and rock and has over twenty five years experience as a tutor.

Singing 

Need to create the right impression with your vocals?

Singing students learn good posture and breathing techniques as well as vocal projection. Students may also chose their own repertoire and can learn from any genre (pop, soul, jazz, musical theatre etc). Some students also like to sing some of their own material (this is optional). Helen can help with vocal technique issues, audition and performance preparation and harmonies and backing vocals. Piano

Always wanted to learn to play the piano?

You’re never too old to learn to play the piano! Piano students are encouraged to learn a variety of genres and styles of music and also have an opportunity to write their own melodies and piano pieces, as well as learning scales, arpeggios and a range of technical exercises. Students may do exams if they wish or just learn for fun. For students wishing to do piano exams, Helen teaches both Trinity and Rockschool syllabuses. Contact Helen for rates and availability.

Music Theory

Want to improve your musical knowledge?

Students have the opportunity to study music theory from classical and popular music styles and are encouraged to compose their music too.
